MULTI-STEP APPROACH
Refining precious metals, this is our core business. Since 1953, Vigwines Refinery has been servicing its (inter)national clients. From intake to delivery, the full procedure is executed in-house, so no intermediairy parties are involved. Clients send in their scrap material personally of by secured transport and can pick up their fine metals afterwards.
Cycle times are limited to an absolute minimum:
– scrap gold and silver (24hrs)
– filishings and polishing dust (72hrs)
– recovery of precious gems (72hrs)
– gold-titanium alloy (4w)
– PGM’s (3w)

RECEIVING
During office hours you can deliver your material at Vigwines. Using a secured transport is also possible. Throughout the whole world our clients are sending in material to Vigwines on a daily basis that needs to be analysed. During office hours, you can deliver your material at Vigwines. Using a secured transport is also possible. We have ongoing contracts with Brinks, Malca-Amit and Ferrari Group. TREATMENT
The fire assay is the most precise method to analyse gold and is certified according to international standards (ISO 11426). All metals are rigourously checked. All discrepancies between weights before and after melting are analysed and justified. After receiving your material it will be melted into a homogeneous bar. This bar will be analysed by way of fire assay by our assayeur. He has been certified for life by the Royal Belgian Mint.
AFTER ANALYSIS
After analysis the material can be physically delivered, added to your metal account or sold. After analysis there are a couple possibilities to handle your precious metals:
– Physical delivery of pure gold, silver, platinum, palladium, …
– The fine weight is added to your metal account.
– You can sell your position at our commercial team against the current day prices.
– At any given moment you can fix the price and have an advance paid out.
